What features do local phone plans offer? Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail, and many more. Be sure to review the calling features for each carrier. Most of the popular features are included free. Some you can add for an extra fee.

What if I have DSL with my current local telephone provider? Can I keep my DSL? If you currently have DSL on the same line that is also used for voice service, your DSL service will need to be canceled with your current provider.

What kind of taxes will I pay? You will pay federal, state and local taxes that are similar to what you paid your previous local and long distance providers.

Who do I call to service my account? (i.e. adding/deleting features, billing inquiries) The new local phone service you sign up for. For example, if you sign up for a Sage Telecom plan; you will have to call Sage Telecom customer service.
